A day sitting in your office at the computer has passed and you are now enduring the everyday hassle of sitting in traffic which seems even slower today. You cannot wait to get home to relax with your family and rid yourself of the stresses the day has created in you.
If this is you then take some consolation from the fact that you are not alone. Modern day life has placed so much pressure on people and removed the ability to have free time. Their work is of a sedentary nature and everything is a rush even to eating on the run. Take-out food fits the bill so well that it has become the norm for many. Of course we know that lack of exercise and poor diet are bad for us, causing weight loss and general health problems, however circumstances and time constraints dictate this course of action. A voice inside keeps saying, “I must lose weight, I must lose this fat, but how when I don't have time!”
Would Fat Loss Pills Simplify this Situation?
Something that assists the body to burn fat and suppress the appetite sounds like, “just what the doctor ordered,” (no pun intended) and most fat loss pills are designed to do just that. There are an amazing number of these pills on the market and they range from pharmaceutical company products, available in most cases only with a medical prescription, to natural and organic substances sold by health shops both on and off-line. There is certainly evidence that many of these fat loss pills are effective and so will probably simplify the above situation.
But wait...
I have heard bad things about the safety of fat loss pills!

Product names such as Reductil, Xenical, Xenifil, Latin Seed and company names such as Herbalife seem to be endless in this market and without getting into specifics about any particular one in this article, it would be prudent to do some research prior to purchasing any product. Below I have listed some negatives and warnings I have found in some instances. Please note that they are general cases not meant to be representative of a particular product and are not exclusive. These effects do not occur with every product and certainly do not occur with every person using such diet or fat loss pills but are indicative of some problems that can occur and which can be serious in some cases.
- Diarrhoea
- Headache
- Strange bleeding or bruising under the skin
- Bloating and stomach or abdominal pain
- Sleep patterns altered
- Urination changes
- Increase in blood pressure
- Dry mouth
- Visual disturbances
- Memory concerns
There is no doubt that fat loss pills do work but to my mind there are certainly safer and better methods of burning fat to lose weight. Exercise and lifestyle changes are of much greater value for fat loss, and for the betterment of ones health, than consuming diet and fat loss pills because they are a convenient way around the problem of fast weight loss.
Because of that the answer to the initial question “Fat loss pills – yes or no?” most definitely has to be, in my humble opinion, a resounding ......
NO!
